Do you think BC changed their motto to “The Best Place on Earth” as an Olympics promo? I really think “Beautiful British Columbia” was a better motto. Slightly more humble, and certainly less controversial.
Although, from a marketing standpoint, it’s pretty smart… because now when you google “The Best Place on Earth”, BC is the first hit. Smart, guys.
If anyone knows of the finer details about BC mottos, please let me know.
