Solution to: No sound on Macbook Pro - Red light from headphone jack

In case anyone has the same problem:

- I read on a forum that there is a digital toggle switch inside the headphone Jack at about the seven o’clock position.

- I used a bobby pin.  The switch is about 1 cm inside the headphone jack, and indeed it is in the seven o’clock position.
